B4. Amber is not

connected to the

phone line.

phone line.

C. PC fails to

communicate with

the Amber via the

Serial Port.

C1. The RS-232 cable

is disconnected

from the Com

Port of your PC.

C1. Verify proper connection of the RS-232

cable.

C2. You may have a

definition conflict

in the OPTIONS

menu/ Commun-

ications settings

C2. Make sure that the Serial Port option is

currently selected.

C3. Your serial port is

defined to work

with high or low

baud rate.

C3. Make sure 115200 bps option is currently

selected in the OPTIONS menu /

Communications.

C4. You may have a

COM Conflict.

C4. Verify that the correct Com Port is specified

in the OPTIONS menu / Communications

D. The unit stalls

during

configuration or

remote

programming.

D1. The Amber needs

to be reset.

D1. Press the three main buttons on the Amber

simultaneously, for 10 seconds.
